Dr. Alyssa J. Cappelletti, D.C.

Dr. Cappelletti found a passion at a young age and began competing in female fitness competitions at the age of 16. Following her love of fitness Dr. Cappelletti attended Ball State University in 2015 and received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a concentration in Applied Sciences. Throughout her time at Ball State, she continued to compete and discovered a new passion in fitness, helping her fellow competitors excel in their sport. Dr. Cappelletti learned corrective movement therapy and sport specific biomechanical analysis, which she used to help train her fellow fitness competitors. Dr. Cappelletti also utilized specific dietary regiments which allowed both her and her colleagues to thrive in the sport.

Following her passion and furthering her education in health and fitness, she attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa where she graduated with high honors in 2022.

Dr. Cappelletti utilizes techniques such as myofascial release, trigger point therapy, overcompensation release, and chiropractic spinal and extremity adjustments. Dr. Cappelletti likes to educate her patients with her vast knowledge in mobility and stability movements.

Dr. Cappelletti is an avid believer that the preservation of health is easier than the cure of disease.

Dr. Cappelletti is currently a care provider for Rice University Athletics. She has the honor working with the wonderful student athletes at Rice that include: baseball, track and field, soccer, volleyball, golf, swimming, cheerleading, football, and tennis.

Outside of work, Dr. Cappelletti is a regular at the gym and enjoys weightlifting. She also enjoys playing tennis, Pilates, and taking her dog Carson on adventures and spending time with her friends and family.
